No photos....

This past Thursday I left my phone at work. Friday I worked from home, and Saturday we ran a bunch of errands in the city, so I was finally able to pick it up.

But knowing me, I put my dead phone in my purse and promptly forgot about it.

When I finaly realized on Sunday morning, I plugged my phone in and was bombarded with texts and voicemails.

Okay, that's a lie. I'm not that popular. But I did have a few texts.

Two from my brother.

"I don't wanna read about your trials and tribulations of being a mommy and have no pics at the end. That's the real reason I check ur blog" sent Saturday night.

"U did it to me again. Where are the freaking pics!!!" sent Sunday afternoon.

I realize that there's been a lot of wordy posts lately with no pictures to show for it. I also realize that most people come to this site to get updates on BG and see pics of her adorable face.

Well.. I have to apologize. We screwed up our computer and for a while there it looked like we were going to lose all our photos. With the whole - having an adorable baby and having a super fast shooting DSLR - thing, we had accumulated over 12,000 photos, with approximately 40% of those being within the past 10 months.

So, we effectively crashed our hard drive. Jeff's currently in the process of trying to fix it, which includes installing a bigger hard drive and rebuilding our iphoto library, but we may have lost a ton of photos, or we may have lost just a few. Jeff's optimistic, but I'm going to wait a bit before jumping for joy.

It's like she's saying neener neener neener, I'm so cute I made you break the computer.

This is an old photo that was pulled from my ipad. Hoping that worse comes to worse, we'll at least have all the photos on my ipad and Jeff's iphone. And thankfully, just the other weekend when my mom was visiting I ordered a bunch of photos to be printed.

So... hold your horses Uncle D... Hope you appreciate all the extra steps I had to go through to get this picture posted.
