1 year check up!

BG went to the doctor's office the other day for her 1 month check up. She had to get her big toe pricked, and 4 shots all at the same time. Poor girl was sobbing pretty badly by the end of the trip. But she's a champ, and bounced back pretty quickly impressing all the nurses with her toddling.

BG's stats!

Height: 29.5 inches tall

Weight: 19lbs even.

Head circumference: 47cm.

She's FINALLY doubled her birth weight, gaining a little over a pound in the past 2 months. Great Job BG - it only took you a year to do what most babies do in 6 months. :)

But the doctor said it's all okay. Noting that because Jeff's so tall and skinny - it's probably all genetic.

I'm a bit concerned with the fact that she still doesn't really say any words. She can say mamamamamama really well, and she says Daahhdoo! all the time, but let's be real, those aren't words. It'd be great if she came up to me and said mama like she knew that's who I am, but in all honesty, I use the Korean word for mom (omma) for me, and I use mamma for food, so she could just be walking around saying she's hungry every time she says mamamamamamama.

But all in all, she's waking, completely healthy, and developing perfectly fine for her age. Her head is getting bigger, therefore her brain is getting bigger, and she's just all around an awesome baby girl.
